How do you come up with those awesome designs?
Svea! My sister, Svea designs all of the images on our cards. She uses several different styles including water colors, gouache paints, water color markers, and hand drawings. All of her artwork is completely original and done right here in our studio in Conifer, Colorado. Svea uploads her designs into photoshop where she can enhance the artwork in order to create the perfect graphic we need for every card.
How do you come with the ideas for your cards?
Lauren! That's me! Svea helps too, but usually I come up with the messages, poems and ideas for our cards. We take inspiration from every day life. We try to think of all the people in our lives who we would send a card to and how we want them to feel when they recieve it. Then we come up with ideas and Svea brings them to life with her artwork. It's a collaborative process that we both really enjoy! If you want to know more, check out our blog!
Where are the cards printed?
Currently, we have our cards printed at Smartpress in Minnesota. Smartpress uses high quality digital printer and premium grade cardstock to make our cards beautiful and long-lasting.
Isn't paper bad for the environment?
All of our newer cards, including the Boutique Line and the Western Line, are printed on 100% recycled paper, come with a recycled envelope and are packaged in a compostable sleeve. Svea and I are very concious of environmental issues and always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint.
Do you sell your cards wholesale?
